Delicious sloppy Joes all done in the slow cooker! With simple ingredients, it’s easy to feed the whole family.

This is my grandma’s old fashioned recipe for sloppy Joes, then I added a few tweaks to it.

First I swapped the ground beef out for ground turkey, because, why not? You can’t taste the difference, but you can use ground beef if you prefer!

Second, I love to make these as a summer dish, but I hate getting the kitchen hot from using the oven and stove. So I threw everything in the slow cooker and it turned out fantastic!

Also sometimes I add green pepper, sometimes I don’t, depending on my mood! I like to add my green pepper towards the end so it stays a little crunchy. If you don’t prefer it this way just add it in the beginning so it cooks all the way.

Don’t forget to toast the buns, makes it that much more delicious! I like to use little buns, or even slider buns for these, just makes them a little less…sloppy.lol.
