Braided Easter bread is a sweet egg bread decorated with a braid down the middle. Perfect dinner bread for your Easter celebration.
I love this bread! It makes such a cute centerpiece on my Easter table. This Easter bread replaces the dinner rolls that we usually eat during a holiday meal. It is similar to a Hawaiian bread but not as sweet and not as dense.
We also like to use the bread for sandwiches with our leftover Easter Ham.
The fancy braid is just decorative, if you find it too difficult to do, you don’t have to do it! Just make this as a regular loaf, it will still taste the same!
This makes two huge loaves of bread so if you would like something smaller, say you wanted to give them as Easter gifts, you can split them up into 4 smaller loaves.
It also tastes great sliced, toasted with a little butter, cinnamon and sugar!

Add the whipped eggs and salt to the milk mixture and set aside.
Dissolve yeast in one Tablespoon of sugar and half a cup of warm water(110-115 degrees). When it is bubbly and activated, whisk in the milk mixture.
Start whisking in the flour, two cups at a time. The last two cups stir in with a spoon, it will be sticky.
