For the Bread:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (frozen can be used if you can’t find fresh)
- 1/2 tablespoon flour (to coat the cranberries with)

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
How to make Orange Cranberry Bread
For the Bread:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat softened butter, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
Add orange juice and orange zest to the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Combine the cranberries with 1/2 tablespoon of flour.
Gently fold in the cranberries to the batter.
Pour batter into the greased loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Glaze:
Sift powdered sugar into a bowl to remove lumps.
Add 2 tablespoons of fresh orange juice to powdered sugar and mix well.
Stir in orange zest if desired.
Once the bread is completely cool, drizzle the glaze over the top.
